WINNER - John Constantine: HellblazerĭC has struggled to find the right place for John Consatntine since the end of the long-running Hellblazer series in 2013 and the character’s transition into the core DC Universe. The series has shown no signs of losing steam in 2020. The unique blending of horror and superhero action makes for one of the best takes on the Hulk franchise we’ve ever read. Gideon FallsĪfter landmark runs on Green Arrow and Old Man Logan, we’ll follow the creative pairing of writer Jeff Lemire and artist Andrea Sorrentino anywhere. Writer NK Jemisin and artist Jamal Campbell truly bring their A-game. Far Sector puts a fresh and visually stunning spin on the Green Lantern comic, showing us what happens when Earth’s newest Lantern is tasked with solving a murder mystery at the far edge of the universe. While Gerard Way’s Young Animal imprint seems to have mostly run its course in 2020, one series continues to keep that fire burning. But under the steady hand of writer Chip Zdarsky and artists like Marco Checchetto and Jorge Fornes, Daredevil is back to consistently being one of the best superhero comics on the stands, Marvel or otherwise.
